Protection Center, also referred to as ProtectionCenter, is the latest rogue application. By utilizing numerous amounts of pop-up alert messages and fake scans, the system user’s are bombarded with information (erroneous) that their system is in need of attention, as it is infected! These claims are false! It is all part of the Protection Center scam, to coerce the user into purchasing their full version. Following the footsteps of its predecessors, Data Protection, Digital Protection, Your Protection, User Protection, Dr. Guard and Paladin Antivirus, Protection Center tends to enter into a computer system covertly – meaning, without the user’s permission or knowledge thereof. Not only is Protection Center fake and wholly useless in terms of computer safety, but it is also highly malicious is its intent to extort money from unsuspecting computer users. It would be best to remove Protection Center and all its components from any system - pronto!
