CryptDrive is a rogue anti-spyware program that may be secretly installed on your system. CryptDrive will intentionally seek to trick you into buying the “full version” of the software by issuing fake security notifications. CryptDrive will display a pop-up advertisement or a balloon on your system tray claiming that your computer is infected with spyware. CryptDrive may be secretly installed through nefarious Trojans, drive-by downloads or via other unsolicited delivery methods. CryptDrive may also appear very difficult to remove manually because of its ability to recreate itself. CryptDrive is an extremely dangerous threat and shouldn’t remain in your computer system.
