These toolbars are always installed with user’s permission although sometimes the user may not understand that he/she gives personal permission for the installation.

It happens, because sometimes Messenger Plus Toolbar does not come from the official website. Actually, more often than not the toolbar is bundled with freeware applications (like shareware games) that are available at third party websites. Users tend to overlook various setup steps that inform them about additional software being installed, so when you open your browser and your home page is change for, do not get so surprised. It simply shows that you cannot install anything blindly – always read what the installation wizard has to say.

In case your default home page has been modified, do not panic.
