ProductManualsPro Toolbar

ProductManualsPro Toolbar is an extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers that is meant to offer you, as you can tell by the name, manuals. If you do not know how to use a gadget you own, it might be quicker to just search for the manual using your regular search provider. However, if you are in need for various manuals, you might find the extension to be useful. We can assure you that while it can provide you with manuals, it is best for you to delete it. Whether you installed it from productmanualspro.com, chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/productmanualspro/lfcehpcmpmhfelfbkmkgjnolebgaelih, or a third-party source, this extension is likely to work the same. Of course, if you do not remember installing this PUP (potentially unwanted program), or you remember installing along with other unfamiliar programs or add-ons, it is a good idea to inspect your operating system for any additional threats. If you discover that you need to remove ProductManualsPro Toolbar along with other threats, do not waste time.

According to our researchers, ProductManualsPro Toolbar was created by Mindspark Interactive Network (now known as Ask Applications). This company has created, literally, hundreds of extensions that claim to offer different kinds of services. The funny thing is that due to the volume of the created toolbars, the company seems to have circled around several times by now. This might be why ProductManualsPro Toolbar has clones, including AtoZManuals Toolbar, Everyday Manuals Toolbar, and ProductManualsFinder Toolbar. Needless to say, all of them offer the same service, and this begs the question of why Mindspark has created multiple versions of the same tool. Most likely, that is because the creator of these PUPs does not care about manuals at all. Of course, once you install the extension, it takes over the New Tab page to introduce you to an interface, which includes a search tool for manuals and guides. However, this interface also displays a search dialog box, and this is what we are mostly concerned about. Every single one of Mindspark toolbars introduces users to the same search tool, and we know for a fact that trusting it is risky.

Whether you installed ProductManualsPro Toolbar or another Mindspark Toolbar, you are bound to be exposed to search.myway.com/search/GGmain.jhtml?, a suspicious search engine that displays sponsored third-party content. This content can appear to be attractive, and that is because the PUP is able to read your browsing history and determine what your interests and preferences are. Web cookies employed by ProductManualsPro Toolbar can also track your interaction with the sponsored content and ads. While Mindspark toolbars mostly offer links to different kinds of third-party websites every time, they always use the same search tool. This is not surprising at all, considering that this search tool was created by the same company. Unfortunately, it is doubtful that the results presented via this engine can be trusted, which is why we do not recommend using it. We also warn to be mindful of all data-tracking technologies that the PUP could employ to spy on you, so to speak. Ultimately, if you do not think that you need a bunch of manuals, perhaps you do not need to keep the suspicious extension installed either.

If you are interested in deleting ProductManualsPro Toolbar, you need to choose the removal option that makes the most sense to you. For example, if you know that other threats exist, if you are worried about your system’s protection, and/or if you simply cannot remove ProductManualsPro Toolbar manually, installing automated anti-malware software is absolutely the best choice. If you are not ready to invest in your virtual security, if you have determined with the help of a malware scanner that other threats do not exist, and if you can follow the instructions below, you are more likely to choose the manual removal option.
