Danger level 6
Type: Adware

Are you careful every time you face a new website or webpage? If you are, you should not be tricked by, an unreliable advertising website that was built to trick people into enabling notifications and then to flood them with potentially unreliable ads. Some people enable these notifications without even understanding what it is that they are doing. That is because the request is presented as “E-CAPTCHA” that asks the visitors to click ‘Allow’ to identify themselves as humans and not robots. Some people might not even pay attention to the pop-up that represents the ‘Allow’ button. If you pay attention, you should realize that, by clicking the button, you would enable notifications. What do you know about them? Most likely, you know nothing, and that is exactly why you must not enable them under any circumstances. Have you done that already? If you have, you must remove notifications. Luckily, that is fairly easy to do, and you can even learn how to delete the unwanted notifications manually.

If you have been duped by the ‘Click Allow if you are not a robot’ message introduced by, you now have unpredictable notifications enabled, and they can even pop up via the Desktop. However, it is possible that you might have been exposed to a different advertising platform. There are tons of them, including,,, or; however, there is no doubt that is most similar to In fact, it is likely that they were built by the same party. People are most likely to come across these advertising platforms as they browse unreliable websites. These could be file-sharing or movie-streaming websites. Unfortunately, in many cases, visitors of such websites are ready to sacrifice their virtual security just so that they could access files, movies, and other content. Without a doubt, we do not recommend acting carelessly because, unfortunately, even little missteps could lead to big problems. Even visiting such unreliable websites and interacting with the pop-ups, banners, and advertisements represented via them could be dangerous because data-tracking cookies could be placed to spy on you.

If you enable notifications, you can expect all kinds of advertisements to flood your screen. These advertisements could be completely ridiculous or very attractive. They could promote data-mining surveys, or they could introduce you to installers. They could be used to represent legitimate products, or they could be used to represent virtual scams. As you can see, there is a lot of unknown when it comes to notifications, and that is why we do not recommend interacting with them. If you have done that already, you need to think very carefully about your actions. If you have downloaded something – you should consider removal. If you have purchased something – consider canceling the purchase via the bank and warning them about a potential scam. If you have disclosed personal information – beware of personalized scams. The bottom line is that if you want to make sure that you are safe, you have to take virtual security in your own hands.
