Danger level 6
Type: Adware is an adware server that you do not want to face because it is bound to expose you to suspicious websites and notification pop-ups associated with them. If you are pushed into enabling notifications via these pop-ups, you could be flooded with all kinds of advertisements, and that could lead to virtual security issues. Unfortunately, because trustworthy websites use notifications as well, some people might think that the notifications represented via unfamiliar websites are harmless as well. That is not necessarily the case. If you have noticed an onslaught of strange ads after enabling suspicious notifications, you know already why you should remove notifications. On the other hand, if you have enabled them, and have not yet noticed anything suspicious, you might be confused. Well, if you continue reading, you will be confused no more, and you will know how to delete the ads.

According to our researchers, is almost identical to a few other adware servers that we have discussed just recently. These include,,, and In most cases, it appears, people are exposed to these adware servers when they visit unreliable websites, including those that offer pirated software installers or illegal movie streaming services. If you visit such websites, you are bound to be exposed to a bunch of pop-up windows and pop-up advertisements promoting random products and services or exposing you to notifications requests. Without a doubt, you should NOT interact with any kinds of offers, installers, or pop-ups. If you do not follow this advice, you could expose yourself to scams, malware installers, and, of course, more suspicious ads. Even when you are asked to enable notifications from legitimate and well-known websites you need to think about it carefully. And when it comes to unfamiliar websites, you should automatically ignore the requests to show notifications. The good news is that is possible to remove unwanted notifications.

Once notifications are enabled, you are likely to face ads every time you launch your browser, and you might be exposed to ads regardless of which websites you visit. Needless to say, this can be very annoying and distracting, but that is not the biggest issue. It is much more important that the suspicious notifications can expose you to unreliable ads. If cookies are implanted to track your virtual activity, information could be collected and analyzed to expose you to something more personalized, but that does not mean that interacting with notifications is a good idea. It never is. The more personalized offers and ads could conceal clever scams, and this could lead to even bigger issues. Let’s say you click on an ad that warns you about malware or viruses that, allegedly, were detected on your operating system. If you click on it, you could be redirected to a website promoting a fake antivirus tool, and if you are tricked into downloading it, you could end up losing money and jeopardizing your virtual security even further. Of course, remember that you could be exposed to misleading ads even if notifications are not enabled. Therefore, you need to be vigilant at all times.

It is possible to disable notifications on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome web browsers, but this is not the best option. We believe that it is best to reset your browser completely. You can learn how to handle that by checking the guides below. Note that if you have questions about any of the steps or the process overall, you can contact our research team by posting a comment below. Once you reset your browser, it is also important that you scan your operating system. You might think that there is nothing that you need to remove, but some threats are able to hide themselves, and so you want to make sure that your system is clear before moving on. If the scanner detects threats, make sure you delete them immediately. Note that notifications can be identified as adware helpers. Needless to say, you can implement automated anti-malware software to delete adware helpers and any hidden threats. We also advise keeping this software installed for full-time protection. Removal
