Power Cleaner 2018

It looks like Power Cleaner 2018 is one of those PC optimizers that claim to be able to speed up computers by cleaning their Registry files. However, most specialists agree it is highly doubtful erasing old Registry data could make any visible improvements on the computer’s performance. Therefore, if you encounter this application, we would advise you not to trust it. According to our researchers, the tool falls under the classification of potentially unwanted programs. If it is unwanted on your device as well, we encourage you to get rid of Power Cleaner 2018 manually while following the deletion instructions you will find below the article. On the other hand, if you would like to find out more about the potentially unwanted program, you should have a look at our full report.

The application has an official site known as advancedsyscare.co, but we doubt a lot of users would find it without employing pop-ups or other advertisements. In other words, we believe Power Cleaner 2018 could be distributed through ads. Such content could show up on various file-sharing web pages. Naturally, if you wish to avoid potentially unwanted programs or doubtful software alike in the future, you should investigate new tools before installation. For example, what could reveal the application might be untrustworthy is too little or no information on its publisher. Plus, it is sometimes useful to read user or expert reviews, although if you are viewing user comments, you should have a look at a lot of them as software like browser hijackers, adware, or potentially unwanted programs might have fake reviews. Finally, as you might be aware antimalware tools can help detect not only malicious content, but also potentially dangerous material, so picking a trustworthy tool could make it easier to keep the computer clean.

After installation, Power Cleaner 2018 should place its icon on user’s Desktop. Launching it opens the software’s window. The second tab called Scan allows starting a system scan, during which the application is supposed to look for data that could make the computer work slower or put it at risk. It was not a surprise being a potentially unwanted program itself it did not show any detections in Security Threats category. Nonetheless, the tool found a lot of invalid Registry entries. Clicking the Repair button opened a pop-up asking to buy the software in order to remove the detections, which the message described as “critical to the performance of your PC.” As we said earlier it is doubtful erasing old Registry finals would many any dramatic changes, so we advise you not to believe in what these pop-ups say. If you have money to spare for a useful application, it would be smarter to invest in a tool you are one hundred percent sure will work as promised and a program you can test and see its benefits for yourself before purchasing it.

Clearly, if you do not plan on buying Power Cleaner 2018 license, you should not leave it installed as we do not think you would have any use from a tool that only detects issues, but does not fix them. Consequently, our researchers have prepared manual deletion instructions showing how to deal with the potentially unwanted program bit by bit. Some of you may find this task a bit too complicated in which case we recommend employing a reliable antimalware tool. It would not only allow you to get rid of Power Cleaner 2018 faster, but also help you keep the system secure and clean; all there is to do is keep it enabled and up to date.
