CouponRockstar Ads

The presence of commercial advertisements with a label CouponRockstar Ads or Ad Offers by CouponRockstar on your screen clearly shows that there is a piece of software (probably a browser extension) that generates ads installed on your computer. Research conducted by specialists working at pcthreat.com has clearly shown that CouponRockstar Ads are closely associated with the extension Offers by CouponRockstar, which is a typical advertising-supported application (adware). It is promoted on http://www.couponrockstar.com/ and also can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store. At the time of writing, there were 655 Google Chrome users who installed it on their PCs. Do not make the same mistake if you are not ready for the avalanche of commercial advertisements because this program focuses on showing them. Some users believe that they could save some money and time by simply installing this program, but you will see for yourself – CouponRockstar Ads are extremely irritating. Theoretically, they might even cause you security-related problems.

The browser extension showing CouponRockstar Ads does not hide the fact that it shows ads (“This Chrome extension shows advertisements to you while you are on the web”), but some users still consciously install it on their computers. This is definitely not what we recommend for you. Believe us; there is nothing smart about installing the extension showing CouponRockstar Ads because you will see various coupons and other types of advertisements while you surf the Internet. To be more specific, these ads will be displayed to you when you open and browse popular websites, including Amazon, BestBuy, WalMart, Costco, and others. Specialists say that the adware program works in the USA region only. If you live in a different place but the extension has still somehow ended up on your PC, there is a possibility that you will never start seeing commercials. You must remove the adware program in this case too.

CouponRockstar Ads are not only extremely annoying but might also take you to shady websites when you click on them. Every advertisement has a link that redirects a user further, so you should always carefully inspect ads you are about to click. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to recognize advertisements promoting untrustworthy websites, so it is a must to keep an antimalware tool installed on the system as well. It will warn you about the malicious website ahead. Also, no other adware or similar undesirable programs will ever enter your system again if you keep it active 24/7.

The sudden appearance of CouponRockstar Ads is not the only problem associated with the adware program. Adware programs usually monitor web browsing data and collect some other details about users and their PCs. All collected details might be shared with advertisers and partners. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about them, so we cannot tell you what they will do with the received information. We know one thing for sure – we would never let a random program collect information automatically.

CouponRockstar Ads do not appear on the screen for no reason. If you have started seeing them, it means that you have downloaded the adware program from http://www.couponrockstar.com/ or the Chrome Web Store. Alternatively, you could have recently installed a software bundle with adware. Either way, you must delete the undesirable ad-supported program from your system to make all those annoying ads gone. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, the installation of a reputable antimalware tool is what you should do after removing adware linked to CouponRockstar Ads so that no new similar infections could ever enter your system without your knowledge.

You will not find the Offers by CouponRockstar extension listed in Control Panel, but you will get rid of it easily by removing it through the add-ons manager. Since it is compatible with only two web browsers Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, you should be able to disable it quickly. If you have never deleted any undesirable extension before, use our manual removal guide. You can also disable the adware program by performing a system scan with an antimalware scanner. The latter is the easiest way to eliminate CouponRockstar Ads completely.
