Searchvzcc.com

Searchvzcc.com is one of the newest products of the company which calls itself Polarity Technologies Ltd. This company has already developed hundreds of websites looking like genuine search providers, e.g. Search.yourpackagesnow.com and Search.searchbrs.com, so specialists working at pcthreat.com are familiar with it. It seems that all its search tools are developed on the same template, so it is not surprising at all that they all act the same. Specialists tend to classify those search tools as browser hijackers because they can change users’ web browsers settings (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome are usually the ones that are affected) without the users’ knowledge. Browser hijackers surely apply undesirable changes, but it is not the only reason users need to get rid of them as soon as possible and do what it takes to prevent them from showing up on the system and applying the undesirable changes. Research has revealed that the modifications they make might be directly linked to security-related problems. Therefore, we highly recommend removing Searchvzcc.com from all your web browsers as well. Find out all the reasons behind this piece of advice by reading this article from beginning to end.

Just like other Polarity Technologies Ltd creations, Searchvzcc.com has all the features of a browser hijacker, and it surely cannot be called a reputable search tool. As mentioned above, if the browser hijacker promoting Searchvzcc.com successfully enters your computer, this dubious page will be set as your homepage on all web browsers. Because of this, this URL will be launched automatically when a web browser is opened. Some users decide to use Searchvzcc.com as a tool for performing web searches because they see it every day; however, they surely do not know that they risk encountering untrustworthy software by doing that. Undesirable applications might be hiding on third-party pages they will be taken to after clicking on modified search results displayed by this search tool. They will be shown to users when they enter a search query in the box located on the main page of the website they find set on their browsers. We do not say that all its search results are bad; however, we are sure that some of them are the so-called modified search results which might redirect to bad websites. Prevent this from happening – remove Searchvzcc.com today.

You should go to delete Searchvzcc.com from all your web browsers also because this search tool will record various details about you. Evidently, it is interested in your activities on the web and interests because it will record non-personally identifiable details like clicks on links, domains visited, etc. It does not surprise our specialists at all that it records non-personal details about users because almost all search tools do that with the intention of improving the service. What really bothers us is the fact that Searchvzcc.com might record personal details too and then share them with third parties. Users are told that this personally-identifiable information will be recorded as part of the search data only, i.e. personal details will be recorded only if they are entered by a user into the search box. It does not mean that there is nothing wrong to let a dubious search tool record this information if it does not do that directly.

Searchvzcc.com is spread in bundles together with third-party applications. Users usually get these “software packages” from such websites as descargar.es, filewin.com, filewon.com, and malavida.es. Have you recently downloaded some kind of application from a suspicious file-sharing website too? If the answer is “yes”, we already know why your browsers have been hijacked – you have downloaded a browser hijacker together with free software from the web. If you do not become more cautious, you might encounter a new browser hijacker or a much more harmful application soon. If you do not think that you will become more careful, at least install security software and enable it on your computer.

You will need to remove an undesirable search tool from all web browsers separately. Below-provided removal guide will help you to get rid of it fully easier. Of course, if you decide to delete Searchvzcc.com automatically, you will need to scan your system only once. In this case, all other active untrustworthy applications will be deleted from the system too.
