Tlerauic

Tlerauic is an undesirable piece of software which can be called both a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and an ad-supported application (adware). It usually takes time for users to find out that this undesirable program is installed on their computers because it does not have a user interface (UI), and it performs activities behind users’ backs. On top of that, Tlerauic is always installed on users’ computers without their permission. Researchers working at pcthreat.com have quickly found out that this program is a part of an adware family Hicosmea. This shows that it cannot be referred to as a trustworthy application and thus needs to be removed from the computer. Users who decide not to do anything risk experiencing a number of security-related problems. On top of that, their computers might start working quite sluggishly. Since the focus of this article is Tlerauic, the next paragraph will provide its description. We are sure it will help you to decide whether or not to erase it too if you are still uncertain what to do with it.

As researchers have managed to find out, Tlerauic enters computers to perform the so-called click fraud, so even the tiniest possibility that it is going to start acting in a beneficial way does not exist. If it is unclear for you what the term click fraud means, we will put it simple – Tlerauic loads advertisements in the background using Internet Explorer. First of all, it opens the domain ad.mediaplzaz.com/frame.html which then it loads all kinds of advertisements. Users do not see them on their screens because this activity is performed in the background. What they can notice is a decreased speed of the Internet connection and a strangely-acting Internet Explorer. Of course, they might not even suspect that Tlerauic is actively working inside their computers for a long time. If you have already checked Control Panel and become aware of the presence of this undesirable application, go to delete it as soon as possible. There is no point in keeping a program which does not do anything good just generates money for its creator by forcing you to suffer. It should be noted that it will no longer use your Internet connection to load ad.mediaplzaz.com/frame.html and send information to a.highercdn.com from your PC associated with the Tlerauic installation/uninstallation after you deactivate it.

It should be emphasized that Tlerauic might travel using a different name too, for example, Caclepre, Commar, Comter, Magtu, Agederar, Itesing, Tricomfi, Lytinsub, and Denaf. Of course, a new name used does not mean that it starts acting in a different way, so if you ever come across a suspicious program having any of these listed names, delete it without consideration too because it is nothing more than a variant of Tlerauic.

As we already know what to expect from Tlerauic, we should now analyze how this undesirable piece of software is distributed. It did not take long for researchers at pcthreat.com to find out that it usually travels in software bundles. It uses the name Nuvision Data Remarketer in this bundle, so it is not surprising that users install it expecting that it is a harmless program. Of course, some users do not even know about its installation because Tlerauic, in most cases, is only one of several items in a software package. This undesirable software is far from Trojans, ransomware, or similar harmful infections, so users could have prevented it from entering their PCs; however, there are other dangerous threats out there which are extremely hard to avoid, so security specialists recommend having a security application enabled 24/7.

Luckily, even though Tlerauic is an undesirable program which enters computers to perform the click fraud, it can be deleted through Control Panel. It does not leave any leftovers, so you will not need to do anything else. If you have never deleted a program before, use instructions placed below this paragraph. Of course, you can erase it quicker with the help of an automatic scanner too. It should be noted that users who employ the automatic method do not need to delete other undesirable programs from their PCs separately too because they are all erased together with Tlerauic at the same time.
