Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open the Windows Explorer and go to %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\* (*-symbols).
  2. Find the prefs.js file.
  3. Open it with Notepad (right-click on this file, select Open with, and choose Notepad).
  4. Delete the following line from this file: user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", ""); .
  5. Save the changes.

Google Chrome

  1. Press Win+E to open the Windows Explorer.
  2. Go to %LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default and find three files Web Data, Preferences, and Secure Preferences of Google Chrome.
  3. Open these files with Notepad one after the other and change to or another website inside these files.
  4. Save the changes.
