  9. Go to C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default.
  10. Delete files entitled:
    a) Preferences.
    b) Secure Preferences.
    c) Web Data.
  11. Navigate to C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(nique Mozilla profile ID).
  12. Locate and then delete a file called prefs.js.
