Healer Console

Healer Console is another name of a PC optimization tool System Healer promoted on systemhealer.com. This application is advertised as the “2016’s Awesome PC Cleanup Tool”. If we believe the information available on the official website of this program, it should clean the computer for you, protect the online privacy, and fix other issues in order to boost the speed of the computer. Since Healer Console promises to act very beneficially, a number of users download and install this PC optimizer willingly on their computers. Of course, it does not mean that it cannot enter the system in a different way. As our researchers have found, it is very likely that Healer Console might be installed on the computer together with other applications downloaded from the web as well, so do not be surprised if you find it installed on your system but do not remember doing that. To be frank, it is the main reason this PC optimization tool has been categorized as a potentially unwanted program, or PUP. Read the following paragraphs of this article to find out what to expect from Healer Console if you keep it.

Even though Healer Console seems to be a very beneficial tool, users quickly find out that its free version does not do anything. Yes, the application performs the full system scan when it is installed on the computer and then presents users with the scan results; however, they are not allowed to see what issues have been found. Also, they are asked to register the application, i.e. to upgrade it if they wish to get those issues fixed. At the time of writing, the license of Healer Console costs $29.95; however, the price might differ depending on the region you live. Consider carefully whether you really want to use this application, especially when it is not known whether its search results can be fully trusted or not. If you make a decision to acquire another reputable PC optimizer for the same price, i.e. you are not going to use Healer Console, you should definitely not keep it on your system. There is a reason for that.

If you let Healer Console stay even though you do not use it and are not planning on purchasing its license, it will be active and use your computer’s resources even though you close it. It is because it creates an entry in Startup to be able to launch automatically when the Windows OS loads up. In other words, it will become active again after you restart your computer. It is possible to stop all its activities only by deleting it fully from the computer, so you should go to do that if you are sure that you will never use this application.

As has already been mentioned in the first paragraph, Healer Console is called a potentially unwanted program also because it does not need direct user’s permission to appear on the computer. As a consequence, people who are sure that they have not downloaded this program from its official website still find Healer Console installed on their computers. Specialists working at pcthreat.com do not find this surprising at all because they know that potentially unwanted applications might be distributed in software bundles together with other applications, usually belonging to the category of freeware or shareware. People who end up with undesirable software on their PCs tend to download applications from third-party websites. If you are one of these people too, be more careful in the future and install new programs attentively. We suggest being more careful because users are usually allowed to select which applications to install and which ones to leave behind.

If you are not going to upgrade Healer Console, do not find it very useful, or have found it installed on the computer without your permission, you can easily delete it at any time. Fortunately, this can be done quite easily since this PUP can be erased through Control Panel. Let our manual removal guide help you if you have never deleted an application before. Keep in mind that these instructions will only help you to delete Healer Console, so you will have to find and erase all other threats that might be hiding on the computer and performing activities yourself. We suggest scanning the computer with an automatic malware remover.
