EasyHotspot

Are you worried about EasyHotspot? You should be because this supposedly useful program is actually very suspicious, and you might realize this right when you visit easyhotspot.asiasoftwaretools.com. This website was set up to promote this program, but the information on it is provided to you in broken English, and that is not a sign of a trustworthy and reputable company. Of course, the most dangerous infections could be represented via the most inconspicuous websites; however, mistakes like these ones suggest that things might have been rushed when developing this software. Nonetheless, the website is active, and the installer works as well, and the information presented – regardless of the grammatical errors – suggests that this program can help you share your Internet connection with other people. This is what attracts users; however, you should remove EasyHotspot from your PC if you have installed it.

Asia Software Tools is represented as the publisher and developer of EasyHotspot; however, the Privacy Policy is represented by SecuriDEX LLC, which is another red flag. This is a type of inconsistency that is common with unreliable, messy programs whose developers are trying to conceal themselves. We have also found a third party involved, Wizzlabs. This company is introduced to users as the creator of WizzWifiHotSpot, and this program is very similar to EasyHotspot. Surprisingly, our researchers have found that both of these programs were created on the same engine by the same creator, and they use the same DNS servers. Needless to say, it is very strange that three different companies are associated with this suspicious program, and this is something you cannot ignore. Of course, you have to dig deeper to learn this, and most users are not that cautious or inquisitive when installing software.

According to our research, EasyHotspot is very “buggy.” This program takes a long time to load. On top of that it disrupts Explorer, as it will be loaded only after the app loads itself. Because this app adds a RUN key to the registry, it automatically starts on Windows startup, which means that your PC might take a lot longer to load as well. Our researchers have tested this program, and we can guarantee you that it does not work. Therefore, there is no point in jeopardizing your PC’s functionality! Even if this program worked, there are reasons to delete it from your operating system. First of all, this program is capable of recording personally identifiable information, and, if you want to keep your virtual identity safe, you should eliminate all unreliable programs capable of recording this kind of data. If you are not sure which programs you need to erase, please use a trustworthy malware scanner.

Another piece of information revealed via the Privacy Policy of EasyHotspot is that its creator works with advertising and publishing “clients.” Did you know that this program can be used to showcase ads? Because this program injects advertisements, we identify it as adware, which is short for “advertising-supported software.” Whether you face pop-ups, interstitial ads, or banners, you have to be extremely careful because the advertisers associated with this program are unknown. This means that their intentions are unknown as well. Are you sure you can trust the ads created by unknown parties? This is extremely dangerous, and, hopefully, you will avoid clicking on them. If you believe that your virtual security might have been jeopardized by this program already, you need to defend yourself. If you have downloaded malware – delete it, and if your personal information was stolen – beware of scams, for example, via the email.

You can uninstall EasyHotspot, and you can eliminate it by deleting its files and registry keys. You can also employ an anti-malware tool to get rid of it, and this is the option we recommend for several different reasons. First of all, an anti-malware tool can successfully detect and eliminate all existing infections. Unfortunately, other infections or unwanted programs could have slithered in along with this adware if it was spread bundled with them, and, of course, you need to take care of their removal as well. Secondly, a legitimate anti-malware tool can prevent malicious threats from entering your PC in the future, and so, if you want to browse the web without fearing malware in every page or link, you should invest in a good security system.
