FreebieForth

FreebieForth is a questionable desktop program that has emerged from a growing family of useless adware programs that include Weather Do, SecretCreditCard, and Diet Interactive. This application makes you believe that you can access free stuff, samples, and coupons through your desktop by using it. We have found that this is a totally useless application that may also put your virtual security at risk. Keeping this adware on board may expose you to unreliable third-party content or worse, cyber criminals. Unfortunately, if you find this application on your computer, it is also quite likely that other malware infections have also entered your system. Therefore, it is important that you remove FreebieForth and all related infections as well. But before we tell you how you can do this, let us tell you more about this malware and the potential risks.

This application has a webpage (freebieforth.com) that you should not visit if you have not done it yet. As a matter of fact, if your computer is protected by a security tool, you cannot even load this page as it gets blocked right away as potentially dangerous content is found. It may be due to the installer that is hosted on this page and can be downloaded if there is no such protection on your PC. However, you should know that this is an InstallCore downloader that bundles infections, including Search Know, Sweet-page.com, and MyPcBackUp. We have noticed that these infections can change according to location and also, time. Nevertheless, installing this package would infect your computer with adware programs, browser hijackers, and potentially unwanted programs as well. These represent multiple system security risks and exposure to unsafe web content. Therefore, if you know you installed this version, you should delete FreebieForth right now and scan your system with a reliable online malware scanner to detect all possibly harmful applications.

The truth of the matter is that reports show that this is not even the most likely way for users to infect their machines with this adware. We have found that you can also download this program through unreliable third-party ads, such as pop-up download offers. These ads may be generated by adware programs on your computer or by shady file-sharing websites, which you may visit while hunting for a free program. It is also possible that you click on modified search results and that can also result in downloading this adware or more malware infections. This is possible when your computer is infected with a browser hijacker because these threats can alter search results to include affiliated parties’ ads and links. We hope that it is clear now that the presence of this adware is undesirable to say the least. We recommend that you remove FreebieForth immediately, if you want to keep the integrity of your computer.

When you run this application, two things happen: It opens its own graphical user interface as well as an Internet Explorer browser window. You can certainly recognize its window because it has a large logo in the top-left corner. Below it loads freebieforth.com/redir.php and that page instantly redirects to various survey and offer sites, such as lajzz.popularprizes.reke.info, which seems to be dependent on region. In the Internet Explorer window it also loads pages with different offers, including redtag-specials.com/?agent_ID=201735&campaign_ID=6089. Engaging with any of the provided content would be a mistake as it is quite risky. This adware is surrounded by potentially unreliable third-party ads. In fact, even its own promotional page hosts at least two ads. We have noticed that this application is completely useless as it cannot even be used as a browser so you can simply view one page that is loaded by this program. If you click on corrupt links or ads, you may end up on malicious websites. If that happens, you may be tricked into downloading more infections disguised as fake software updates. But you may also be scammed other ways, such as by luring you to a fake online shop and stealing your banking information. If you do not wish to experience any of these, you should remove FreebieForth without a second thought.

The only good thing about this application is that you can easily clean it from your PC. You just need to locate this uninstaller in the list of installed programs via Control Panel. Please follow our instructions below if you need help with this. Also, remember to stay away from suspicious websites and third-party ads to avoid similar malware attacks. However, if you are looking for decent protection for your PC, we can only suggest that you install a reliable malware removal application that can automatically detect and eliminate all known threats.
