Search.easysportsaccess.com

Search.easysportsaccess.com is often regarded as a browser hijacker because most users do not realize accepting it when installing the Easy Sports Access extension. Although a browser hijacker is usually a program that changes browser settings without permission, and this extension gives a warning, we still identify Search.easysportsaccess.com as a hijacker because it is forced upon users. There is no way of installing Easy Sports Access without having your search tools modified as well. The official website, easysportsaccess.com/Sports, states that the features of Easy Sports Access are represented via the new tab page, so why do they corrupt homepage and default search provider tools as well? Although it is unlikely that you will need to delete Search.easysportsaccess.com from Chrome, as the extension only takes over the New Tab, you might find that you need to remove this hijacker from Firefox and IE browsers.

There is no doubt that Search.easysportsaccess.com is not a reliable search provider, and there are at least two different reasons behind this. First of all, this search provider is identical to Search.myradioxp.com, Search.mydailyversexp.com, and other suspicious hijackers, all hosted on 23.23.112.27. Although every single one of these search tools is linked to a different extension that promotes different services, it is possible that different names are used to reach more “customers.” Second, Search.easysportsaccess.com is completely useless when it comes to web browsing! If you try using it as a normal search tool, you will be shown modified Yahoo search results via the extsearch.maxwebsearch.com server. Needless to say, this hijacker cannot be trusted with web browsing, and that is a good reason to delete it from your browsers. Make sure you choose a reliable and trusted search provider to replace Search.easysportsaccess.com with.

Once installed, Search.easysportsaccess.com and the Easy Sports Access extension drop many different components. For example, you will find My Email XP_RASAPI32 and My Email XP_RASMANCS keys in the Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing. The Tracing service records the apps that have been installed onto your PC. Although you do not need to worry about these registries, they will remain recorded even when you delete Search.easysportsaccess.com. If you wish to remove them, you will find the steps attached to the removal instructions very helpful. If you download Easy Sports Access onto Chrome, you will find all of its components in the noflkibefpjggihoiolndndmgoinklha (Chrome ID) folder under C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions. If this extension was installed onto Firefox, go to C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[*]\Extensions, and you will find the file (sports@jetpack.xpi) representing Easy Sports Access. Note that if you delete this file, you will have to remove Search.easysportsaccess.com separately. Of course, if this hijacker was installed without the extension, it will be represented in a different way.

Have you analyzed the Privacy Policy associated with Easy Sports Access? You can access this document at Search.easysportsaccess.com. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, click the Privacy Policy link, and a window will pop up. Of course, most users do not take any time to analyze the information provided within this document because there is a lot of it, and it is boring. Nonetheless, if you do not want to let in malicious software, you have to read this document. In the “Collection of Information” section you are informed that search queries that might contain personally identifiable information could be collected and, what is worse, shared with third parties. We do not know who is associated with the creators of the suspicious Search.easysportsaccess.com, and that is truly unnerving. What if cyber criminals hid behind an unsuspicious disguise to collect information about you? This could put your virtual security at serious risk.

We are sure you need no convincing that it is best to remove Search.easysportsaccess.com. This hijacker is not useful or reliable, and there is no reason to keep it on your browsers. What you should do is replace the unwanted homepage and search provider with reliable alternatives, and that is what you can learn how to do using our removal instructions. These instructions also show how to delete Easy Sports Access. If this extension is the cause of your browsers being hijacked, you should have Search.easysportsaccess.com deleted as soon as you uninstall the program (for IE) or remove the extension (for Firefox and Chrome). Because this suspicious hijacker has been found to travel in bundles, please install an authentic malware remover as well to delete any leftovers and guard your operating system.
