RotaryMasteRs

RotaryMasteRs is the name of an application that might make you think it is the “perpetuum mobile” of software, but, in reality, the only perpetual thing about it is the flow of third-party ads it displays on your screen. As a matter of fact, this app is without any real function. Actually, we have classified it as an adware program. As such, it can become rather annoying with its banner and pop-up ads, but that is not all; these advertisements may also be indirectly harmful for you and your computer as well. What is even worse in the case of this adware is that it may sneak onto your computer in the company of other malware infections. If you hesitate to act, this situation might even cripple your operating system or you might end up losing sensitive data. But whatever happens, keeping this adware on-board is not an option, if you take your virtual security seriously. Therefore, we advise you to delete RotaryMasteRs ASAP. If you read on our article, you will learn how you can act against this infection.

RotaryMasteRs comes from the so-called Multiplug family of worthless ad-supported programs that are all built on the infamous JustPlugIt cross-browser platform. Therefore, all members of this family are practically the same. ClickTheApp and DigitalChallenge are only two of the many adware apps we have covered recently. This application has no promotional website, so it is quite likely that you cannot even download a standalone version of it. Instead, what you may actually download is a bundled version that is distributed via notorious third-party installers, such as InstallRex and Amonetize.

Unfortunately, downloading such installers is real bad news for users since these may be packed with malware infections. We have noticed that RotaryMasteRs may come with Websearch.hotfindings.info and OurSurfing.com, for example. These are well-known browser hijackers, so chances are your browser settings have already been modified without your permission. If you have any uncertainty regarding the malware situation on-board, we strongly recommend that you delete RotaryMasteRs and find a reliable online malware scanner to run a full system scan with.

This adware is a good-for-nothing application that is only beneficial for its creators, of course. Its only goal is to display third-party ads and draw your attention to them so that you will click; and that is exactly what you should not do at all. Let us tell you why. As a matter of fact, you can never trust third-party ads. The adware developer companies never take responsibility for the third-party content you might get exposed to and they hardly ever review these third parties. That means that even cyber criminals may exploit this adware and show you ads that are virtually baits so that you will be lead to their malicious websites. In order to avoid such unfortunate visits, we suggest that you remove RotaryMasteRs right now.

There are two things you have to do if you are ready to manually deal with the RotaryMasteRs situation. First, you have to locate the application in the list of installed programs and uninstall it. Then, you have to get rid of the browser extensions in Mozilla Firefox and Google chrome. Internet Explorer is taken care of by the uninstaller. Please follow our instructions below if you need assistance. Remember that you could have prevented malware infections from entering your computer if you had had proper protection. If you want to avoid future malware attacks, maybe it is time to consider installing a decent antimalware tool.
