Skyrocket Player

In theory, Skyrocket Player should be a great addition to your computer, but, in reality, it is a program that does not function well. According to the research our experts have conducted, this program is fairly new, which might be the reason why it is working in a disorderly manner. Of course, you do not need to stick with programs that cannot offer you beneficial services or live up to your expectations. Even though we do not claim that you need to remove Skyrocket Player right away, like you would have to delete malicious threats, this potentially unwanted program might be undeserving of your time.

If Skyrocket Player worked the way it was supposed to, you would see a bar attached to the top of your desktop or your browser (if you chose this). This bar is meant to help you access and play music videos in a much easier and more convenient manner. As it is suggested on skyrocketplayer.com, Skyrocket Player is a “floating player” that is supposed to provide you with “an enjoyable online video viewing experience.” Unfortunately, this program often fails to find the videos you are looking for and plays them in low quality, but that is not the only reason to delete Skyrocket Player from your PC.

It is unlikely that you are familiar with PlayThru Player, but this media player is similar to Skyrocket Player. In fact, the information representing these players is identical, which leads us to believe that they were created by the same company. This is what disconcerts us. If a program is good, useful, and reliable, why create several different versions of it? What is more, the developer of PlayThru Player was found to be associated with adware and malware that requires removal. Needless to say, it is a good idea to delete programs that are created by the same people who are scamming computer users.

Even though Skyrocket Player does not appear to work in a malicious manner, it is not useful either, which is why we recommend deleting it from your operating system. If you want to, you can go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Skyrocket Player\ and launch uninstall.exe to remove Skyrocket Player. Of course, most users are much more comfortable deleting undesirable programs via Control Panel, which you can do using our removal guide below. Afterward, it is important that you scan your operating system with a malware scanner just to make sure that you do not need to delete Skyrocket Player leftovers.

Since Skyrocket Player can be spread using software bundles, it is possible that you will find it installed along with unreliable programs. This is another reason why it is important that you use a trustworthy malware scanner. Of course, the best thing you can do is install an automated malware detection and removal tool. Even though tools of this kind are primarily constructed to delete malicious programs, they should be able to detect and delete Skyrocket Player as well. If you have questions regarding this potentially unwanted program or its removal, feel free to post them using the comment box below.
