Your-home-page.net

Your-home-page.net is often considered to be a browser hijacker because it comes bundled with other programs and replaces the regular search tools on the browsers installed. Our researchers could not detect this search tool to act as a browser hijacker, but some computer users have complained that they have found it installed without permission. If this is what you have discovered, you might want to remove Your-home-page.net without further delay. Of course, you should ask yourself first if you have not installed this search tool by accident. Either way, it is always best to delete unfamiliar programs.

Even though most users are careful when they download software because they know the risks that are involved, some users are downright careless. If you are careless, you are lucky that you have encountered Your-home-page.net because this search engine is not considered to be a serious threat that requires immediate removal. Unfortunately, there are many serious infections that do not need a permission to enter your PC. All they need is a careless click on a corrupted download button or a link to enter your operating system. Unfortunately, most users who are trying to delete Your-home-page.net have downloaded this search tool packaged with other programs, and some of them might require removal.

As mentioned previously, it is unlikely that Your-home-page.net will corrupt your browsers as a hijacker. It is more likely that this search tool will come packaged with other programs, and, depending on the distributor, it could be installed along with highly malicious threats. The best thing you can do in this situation is examine your operating system with a malware scanner. If this tool does not detect malicious infections, you are in the clear. Of course, that does not mean that you must use undesirable programs. For example, if you prefer your regular search tools, you can remove Your-home-page.net.

Even though Your-home-page.net is not considered to be the most dangerous infection, our malware researchers recommend removing it. The search tool does not provide any information about itself via Privacy Policy, EULA, or similar documents, which makes it extremely suspicious. Fortunately, the links it provides on its home page are not malicious, and it redirects your reach queries to Google Search. Of course, there are no guarantees that your search results will not be tampered with, which is another reason to delete Your-home-page.net. Even though we think it is best to delete this suspicious piece of software, its fate is entirely in your hands.
