Adblocker Premium

Adblocker Premium should not be confused with Adblock Plus developed by Wladimir Palant for Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome. Adblocker Premium is a program that you should remove, because it will not block ads; instead, it is actually an adware program that has been created to show them. You can download the real Adblock Plus at Adblockplus.org. Now that you know what Adblocker Premium is and what it’s not, we can have a closer look at what it does and where it comes from. But, before we go any further, we must say that manual removal of this application is out of the question. If you want to know why, please continue reading.

Adblocker Premium is promoted on a website at Adblockerpremium.com. But it only features empty promotional slogans, since there is no download button to speak of. Our security specialists say that this infection is bundled with malicious software installers that contain malicious toolbars, adware, and sometimes potentially unwanted applications. Your computer can become infected with Adblocker Premium if you are a frequent visitor of free software distributing websites. Regular readers of our articles should know that freeware websites are the primary means for distributing mildly dangerous malware.

But this application is very aggressive. It is installed secretly without the user’s permission, and begins showing unreliable advertisements that contain links to malicious downloads. We warn you that you will be subjected to a lot of malicious content that may appear legitimate. So we encourage you to resist the temptation to click any ads, offers, or recommendations that appear out of the blue in your browser window and desktop.

While performing the research, a fake Internet Explorer window appeared and offered to update a media player. The windows mimicked Adobe’s gray and red color theme, so inattentive users might think that this is a legitimate update recommendation, but it really isn’t. maintainpc.newcheck4updates.net is the website name found at the bottom of the page, and the name of the developer of the installer is OOO Digital Vei. Its email address is office@digital-wayrussia.com. During the installation of the media player we were prompted with an ad by reimage.com. After clicking yes, a browser window opened with Sweet-page.com on Firefox and Go.mail.ru on Chrome as the main websites. They showed pop-up ads by SaleItCoupon. The setup also installed the Amigo web browser and several adware infections called QuickSearch, Search Enginer, and Filter Results. The amount of malware infections installed was overwhelming.

Manual removal of this application is not an option at this point, because uninstalling it via the Control Panel will not resolve the issue and you will be denied access to folders that contain key files of Adblocker Premium. Therefore, we recommend getting SpyHunter. Our tests have shown that SpyHunter is one of the few applications that can remove Adblocker Premium and all the infections that accompany it.
