Manual removal might be a little bit tricky because different versions of this hijacker come with different features, but we will tell you how to get rid of them all. It is possible to read more about this program at However, the tricky thing is that there is no direct download link that would allow you to download and install the program willingly. Consequently, the only way to get this program is through freeware bundles. That is why users often do not understand why or how managed to enter their systems. It is just that the program was installed together with some other application you have recently downloaded, and you haven’t noticed that the app you wanted came with additional programs that are barely useful.

If we were to take a look at the hijacker’s main homepage, we would see that it promotes itself as a useful web search tool that can optimize your web surfing experience. It says that is a custom search engine that “aims to provide the ultimate online search experience.” It boasts to have “advanced technology” that “provides you with the best of what the web has to offer, and makes it easier than ever to find exactly what you are searching for.” It would not be so bad, if everything talks about were true, but in reality this search engine is only a tool that is used by third parties to collect data on your web browsing habits, and then expose you to customized commercial content.

To be honest, we have seen similar applications before. Search engines from the same family include,,,, and many others. This proves how extensive the browser hijacker network is, and that cyber criminals try their best to make us much as possible by employing such infections in their schemes. As a result, may display a lot of commercial advertisements that lead to corrupted websites, may install a toolbar that slows down your browser’s performance, and may modify your browser settings without your permission.

Each and every feature of this infection is highly bothersome, so you need to take care of at once. First, remove the program via Control Panel and then delete the toolbar from your browser. Afterwards, you can restore your default homepage and search engine manually through your browser settings. We provide instructions on each and every step below. If you find something confusing, or you cannot remove with ease, you can always leave us a comment. Please do not forget that is most probably not the only dangerous program installed on your computer, so when you are done with manual removal, please scan the system for other potential threats.
