Software bundling is the method that is usually used for the distribution of browser hijackers like this one. We have found that,, and similar browser hijackers – whose removal we have discussed in the past – are spread using the same method. Browser hijackers are programs that take over browsers without permission. In some cases, the suspicious could be installed without your permission as well, which is why we suggest removing this search tool as a hijacker. Unfortunately, those users who install themselves are more difficult to convince that this search provider is unreliable. Even if this search tool was not installed without permission, there are a few reasons why it is wise to remove it from your browsers. The first, and most obvious, reason is the advertising it supports. If you do not delete, it will introduce you to banners and pop-up ads every time you browse the web. This can be dangerous. is a Turkish browser hijacker created by NAVIGATION NETWORK CO, which is why it is not surprising that the interface and the ads are presented in this language as well. Besides promoting ads, can also interfere with your browsing. Users, who do not remove this hijacker and, instead, proceed using it as a regular search provider, might face sponsored search results. Clicking on any kind of third-party content associated with is very dangerous, because the parties associated with this search tool are undisclosed. For all you know, the ads could be presented by cyber criminals, in which case, you need to remove these ads to avoid additional malware and scams.

Tracking cookies is another thing that you need to beware of. If you do not rush to delete tracking cookies, they could be used to record information about you and your virtual activity. Our researchers did not find information about these cookies collecting private/sensitive data, but it is impossible to say if they could not be updated to spy on you in a more intrusive manner later on. After all, if you delete these cookies, you will have one less thing to worry about. Of course, this does not mean that you will not need to remove from your web browsers.

Even though can be a dangerous threat, its removal, surprisingly, is not so complicated. We have found that it should be enough to replace the undesirable search tools to delete successfully. Of course, you need to be as careful as possible, which is why using a malware scanner is extremely important. It is most important to use this tool to learn if you have removed files, and if you do not need to delete other infections.
