1. Restart your computer and start tapping F8 immediately after BIOS screen loads up.
2. Select Safe Mode with Networking and tap Enter.
3. Press OK.
4. Visit http://www.pcthreat.com/download-sph and download the tool.
5. Open the Start menu.
6. Launch RUN and type in msconfig. Click OK.
7. Open the Startup tab and select Disable all.
8. Click OK.
9. Restart your computer in Normal mode.
10. Install the security application.
11. Run a full system scan.

Windows 7 and Vista

1. Restart your computer.
2. When BIOS loads up, start tapping F8 on the keyboard.
3. Select Safe Mode with Networking using arrow keys.
4. Tap Enter.
5. Open your browser and go to http://www.pcthreat.com/download-sph.
6. Download the scanner.
7. Install it and scan the system.

Windows 8 and 8.1

1. Press the Power button at the Windows login screen, press and hold the Shift key, and click Restart.
2. Select Troubleshoot.
3. Press Advanced options.
4. Select Startup Settings.
5. Click the Restart button.
6. Tap F5 on your keyboard to enable Safe Mode with Networking.
7. Open your browser.
8. Go to http://www.pcthreat.com/download-sph and download SpyHunter.
9. Scan the system.
