TopDeal

TopDeal is an adware program that interrupts your web browsing experience by displaying a variety of annoying commercial advertisements. These advertisements are supposedly displayed in order to help you save money whenever you shop online, but one can never trust TopDeal. This application does not check what kind of content gets embedded into its ads, so inadvertently you could be redirected to unreliable websites that promote adware and other unwanted software. It would be in your best interests to remove TopDeal from your computer immediately. There is no need to keep an application that only slows down your system.

Some users think that TopDeal is a dangerous virus because they don’t understand how this application enters their computers. However, this adware program is very far from being a genuine virus. On top of that, users install TopDeal onto their computers themselves, although most of the time they are not aware of that. It happens because TopDeal comes bundled with freeware. Adware programs seldom have direct distribution sources, and this program does not even have an official website. It travels around just like GoSave, DealPly, RightCoupon, and many other adware applications. To put it simply, TopDeal spreads with freeware.

This application comes from a group of the so-called semi-random name adware. They get distributed via InstallRex, Vittalia and Amonetize installers. The type of installer that delivers this program depends on what website you visit and your location. The bottom line is that you should never download programs from third-party file sharing websites because you can never know what additional apps might be included in the installer. What is more, avoid clicking download buttons on torrent websites because some of them are fake and clicking a fake download button initiates freeware download.

When TopDeal enters your system, it adds extensions to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer web browsers. Research shows that the newest Google Chrome versions are immune to this extension, but the adware still gets installed on your PC, so you have to be careful.

TopDeal collects data on what websites you visit and what you search for online because it needs to generate customized commercial ads. These ads appear whenever you access eBay, Amazon, BestBuy and any other popular online shopping mall. Technically, TopDeal ads should help you purchase your favorite goods at a lower price, but that does not happen because most of the ads lead to third-party websites, and these websites have nothing to do with shopping.

If you want to avoid potential malicious exploitation, you have to remove TopDeal immediately. Scan your computer with the SpyHunter free scanner. A full system scan will help you detect other unwanted programs, and you will be able to terminate them at once.
