HostSecure

HostSecure is an adware program which you should remove from your computer if you want to browse the Internet without being bombarded with multiple advertisements aimed at driving more traffic to third-party websites. HostSecure is installed as a browser add-on and is compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. The HostSecure browser add-on is known to be bundled with various programs, including PC Optimizer Pro, TotalSystemCare, Search protector, and other free programs.

At the moment of this writing, HostSecure is not working properly because it does not connect to advertising servers. As a result, instead of pop-ups, web banners, and other advertisements, only blank advertisements are displayed. The odds are that the program will be fixed at any time, which means that soon you may be provided with questionable commercial and non-commercial offers.

HostSecure does not accept responsibility for third parties, because they have their separate privacy policies and terms of use. By installing the program, you accept responsibility for your interaction with third-party pop-ups and other advertisements, which is why we encourage you to remove HostSecure from the computer. HostSecure may display advertisements aimed at deceiving you; for example, you may find pop-ups promoting system scans or online contests. In order to prevent online privacy-related issues, you should ignore suspect offers and remove HostSecure from your computer as soon as you can.

You should also bear in mind that HostSecure may be monitoring you. Adware programs collect information concerning your use of the Internet, i.e., it records your clicks, impressions, search terms, browsing history, browser time, time spent on various websites, etc. This type of information is collected for the purpose of understanding your browsing behavior and determining your browsing patterns. Moreover, the data collected may be shared with third parties, and, if you do not want to risk your privacy, you should remove HostSecure so that you can stop it from monitoring you.

As regards the removal of the program, we recommend that you use a reputable security program because manual removal is insufficient in this case. After uninstalling the program, a lot of components of the program have to be deleted manually, which is time-consuming. When you install our recommended program, only the shortcut of Google Chrome has to be fixed, which you can do with the help of the instructions given at the very bottom of this report.
