Bliss Search

Bliss Search is one of the many adware applications that make an impression they are there to improve your online shopping experience. Bliss Search promises to help you find the most useful discount coupons on the most popular online websites, but, unfortunately; that is not exactly the case. This application cannot guarantee that it discloses reliable information, and it might inadvertently lead you to potentially dangerous websites. Hence, you are strongly recommended to remove Bliss Search from your computer before you managed to get infected with serious computer security threats.

It is true that Bliss Search is not a computer virus. Adware applications often enter computers with user’s permission and this program is of no exception. You may not know when or how you installed Bliss Search on your PC, but be sure that you were the one who triggered the installation process.

This adware application belongs to SuperWeb family of potentially unwanted programs. There is an extensive list of similar applications out there, including DizzyDong, ResultsBay, Cling Clang and many others. The core feature of all of these programs is that they have a homepage, but the download link over there does not work. The same applies to Bliss Search as well – blisssearch.net provides you with the basic information on this app, but clicking the Download button merely opens a blank new tab.

One thing that makes Bliss Search different from other SuperWeb family apps is that it affects Google Chrome browser as well. Most of the similar programs work on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox only. However, once Bliss Search enters the target system, it affects all main browsers by adding extensions. With the extensions added, the program starts collecting data on your web browsing habits, and when it has enough data collected, Bliss Search starts displaying banner ads in websites and shopping suggestions in online shopping malls. These ads are labeled as “ads by Web BlissSearch.”

Needless to say, that user should never click any Bliss Search ads. Although the content of the advertisements may seem to be related to your likes and preferences, it does not mean that the application can provide you with links to safe websites! Bliss Search does not review what kind of content is embedded into its ads, so for all you know you could be redirected to potentially dangerous websites that collect personal data, or even worse – distribute malware.

It is obvious that you have to uninstall Bliss Search in order to protect your PC from any potential threats. After manual removal, be sure to run a full system scan with SpyHunter free scanner because you might have a number of other adware or freeware applications on board. You have to do all it takes to terminate all the system threats and ensure your PC is protected 24/7.
