  5. Select Search Providers and then click on a new search engine. Select Set as default.
  6. Click on the search provider that needs to be erased and click Remove.
  7. Tap Alt+T again and then go to Internet Options.
  8. Click on the General tab, type in homepage URL and click OK.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Launch your browser and tap Ctrl+Shift+A.
  2. Select Extensions.
  3. Locate the unwanted extension and then select Remove/Disable.
  4. Press Alt+T and then select General tab.
  5. Type in homepage URL in the field near Home Page. Click OK.
  6. Go to the start page of your browser.
  7. Click on the field near the search provider icon.
  8. Tap F4 and select a new search engine.
  9. Tap F4 again and then go to Manage Search Engines…
  10. Select the unwanted search provider and click Remove.

Google Chrome

  1. Launch your browser.
  2. Tap Alt+F.
  3. Select Tools, then go to Extensions.
  4. Click on the unwanted extension and then select the recycle bin button.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. Select Settings from the Chrome menu.
  7. Select Open a specific page or set of pages. Click Set pages.
  8. Add a new page and click OK.
  9. Mark Show Home button under Appearance. Click Change and repeat the 8th step.
  10. Select Manage search engines… from the Search section.
  11. Select a new search engine and click Make default.
  12. Click on the unwanted search provider and then click X.
