Mozilla Firefox

1. Launch your browser and press Ctrl+Shift+A.
2. Select Extensions.
3. Click on the application and click Remove.
4. Go to the startup page and locate the search provider icon in the upper part of the screen.

6. Click on the search provider icon again and select Manage Search Engines…

8. Press Alt+T and select Options.

Google Chrome

1. Open your browser.
2. Tap Alt+F simultaneously.
3. Select Tools and move to Extensions.
4. Click on the useless extension and click the recycle bin button. Select Remove.
5. Select Settings from the menu on the left.
6. In On startup, choose Open a specific page or set of pages.
7. Click Set pages.
8. Add a new URL and click OK.
9. Mark Show Home button and click Change.
10. Add a new homepage address and click OK.
11. Select Manage search engines… in the section Search.
12. Click on the search provider and click Make default.
13. Select the one that you are going to erase and click X.
