Conduit virus

Step I: Remove Conduit virus from PC

Remove from Windows XP:

Remove from Windows Vista/Windows 7:

Remove from Windows 8:

  1. Access the Metro UI menu and right-click on the background.

  3. Find the program you wish to delete, right-click and select Uninstall.

Step II: Delete Conduit virus from browsers

Delete from Internet Explorer:

  1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T (Tools menu).
  2. Select Manage Add-ons and then click Search Providers.
  3. Select a new search provider, Remove the undesirable one and click Close.
  4. Open the Tools menu again (Alt+T) again and select Internet Options.
  5. Click the General tab and locate the Home Page.
  6. Change/remove the undesirable URL and click OK.

Delete from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T.
  2. Select Options from the appeared Tools menu.
  3. Click the General tab, change/remove the Home Page and click OK.
  4. Move to the search box on the right and click the search provider icon.
  5. Select Manage Search Engines.
  6. Remove the undesirable search provider and click OK.

Delete from Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+F.
  2. Select Settings and move to the On Startup section.
  3. Mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  4. Overwrite/remove the undesirable URL and click OK.
  5. Under Appearance mark Show Home button.
  6. Click Change and repeat step 4.
  7. Under Search click Manage search engines.
  8. Click X on the undesirable search provider to remove it and click Done.
