Search.conduit.com

Do not rush to think that your web browsers have been corrupted by a browser hijacker if you have discovered search.conduit.com set as the default home page/search engine. The suspicious search tool is usually bundled together with Conduit community toolbars, and in most cases you will be asked to approve its installation. If you are guaranteed that the search engine has been attached to your IE, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers illegally, we recommend that you immediately delete any potentially undesirable, disruptive computer applications. We also advise getting search.conduit.com deleted from the web browsers even if you have acquired the search tool voluntarily and you find its services satisfying.

Nvstech Toolbar, Freshly Toolbar and Bitlord Toolbar are only a few of the many applications with which the suspicious search.conduit.com could be bundled with. All of these toolbars have been developed on the Conduit platform; however, they all may work in different manners. In most cases, these browser plugins provide easy access links to relatively harmless, reliable sources. Of course, you should stay cautious about Value Apps, PriceGong and other promotional content services because they follow individual privacy policies and are not always considered to be reliable. Have you discovered any unfamiliar programs offered for installation when acquiring one of the aforementioned toolbars? You should not install them if you do not know much about their developers or their activity.

Even though some computer users rush to link search.conduit.com to the allegedly malicious Conduit virus, we do not consider the search engine to be malicious. Of course, it could provide links and could display irritating banner advertisements routing to unreliable sources; however, these risks are related to many search engines. Nonetheless, no reliable search tools would route you to secondary search engines. For example, when using search.conduit.com you might end up in Google search. This is why you should have no reservations about the removal of this useless search tool.

We recommend that you delete search.conduit.com even if it is not malicious and does not pose major security threats. This search engine is not as useful as hundreds of other reliable and beneficial tools, which is why we doubt that you will ever regret having it removed from the PC. Follow the manual removal steps below to delete the undesirable search engine and to remove applications related to it. You should install automatic malware detection and removal software to guard the PC after the instructions are completed.
