  6. Click on the search provider icon again and select Manage Search Engines…

  8. Press Alt+T and go to Options.
  9. Type in your homepage URL and click OK.

Google Chrome

  1. Open your browser and press Alt+F.
  2. Go to Tools and then select Extensions.
  3. Under the heading Chrome, select Extensions.
  4. Find the extension which you want to remove and click the trash button.
  5. Click the Remove button in the dialog box which appears.
  6. Find Settings in the same menu and select it.
  7. In the section On startup, mark the third option Open a specific page or set of pages.
  8. Select Set pages and select or type in a new homepage URL, then click OK.
  9. In the section Search, select Manage search engines…
  10. Select a new search engine and click Make default.
  11. Remove the unwanted search provider and click X.
