A new computer threat, known as, is making its way into the unguarded Windows systems. The clandestine browser hijacker can affect Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers; however, if you are not cautious soon enough your entire computer could be corrupted. As research shows, computer users usually choose as a new default search provider themselves through the Add Search button located on the search engine. Delete undesirable search providers

Delete from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the browser, locate the search box on the right and click the represented icon.
  2. From the appeared menu select Manage Search Engines.
  3. Locate the undesirable search provider, click it and select Remove.
  4. Click OK and then restart Firefox.

Delete from Google Chrome:

  1. Launch the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Move to Search and click the Manage search engines button.
  3. Select or add a new default search provider by clicking the Make default button.
  4. Locate the URL, click X on it to remove it and then click Done.
  5. Restart Chrome before using it again.

Delete from Internet Explorer:

  1. Simultaneously tap Alt+T to open the Tools menu.
  2. Select Manage Add-ons and then click Search Providers.
  3. Remove the undesirable search provider and add a new default one.
  4. Click Close and restart Internet Explorer.
