  3. Change/remove the Home Page URL and click OK.
  4. Click the search provider icon on the search box.
  5. Select Manage Search Engines.
  6. Remove the undesirable search provider and click OK.

Delete from Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Move to On Startup and mark Open a specific page or set of pages. Click Set pages. 
  3. Locate the default URL and change/delete it. Click OK.
  4. Go to Appearance and mark Show Home button.
  5. Click Change and the repeat step 3.
  6. Go to Search and click Manage search engines
  7. Choose a new default search provider and remove (X) the undesirable one. Hit Done.

Delete from Internet Explorer:

  1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T.
  2. Select Manage Add-ons and click Search Providers.
  3. Locate the undesirable option, select Remove and click Close.
  4. Tap Alt+T once again and select Internet Options.
  5. Click the General tab and move to Home Page.
  6. Overwrite/remove the displayed URL and click OK.
