Internet Helper Toolbar

Internet Helper Toolbar is often considered to be a browser hijacker or a computer virus, but it is neither. This application is a browser plugin that users download onto their computers voluntarily, even if they do not realize it. This toolbar may come from a variety of different sources, and it can cause erratic browser behavior and as well as a significant slowdown of the computer system, so it is in your best interest to remove Internet Helper Toolbar from your computer, and then make sure that your system is protected from potentially unwanted programs.

This toolbar is developed and distributed by Conduit Ltd. There are a lot of Conduit toolbars out there and all of them are practically the same. Therefore Internet Helper Toolbar is almost identical to OtShot, Sweetdreams-49, Virtualdj Toolbar and similar applications. All of these toolbars are compatible with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome web browsers. Just like its predecessors Internet Helper Toolbar can be downloaded from the official website at internethelper.ourtoolbar.com, although more of than not this toolbar arrives bundled with other freeware applications, downloaded from third party websites. In such cases, you need to be extremely attentive during the installation process, otherwise you would end up installing a number of features you neither need nor want.

For example, the full setup of Internet Helper Toolbar changes your default home page to search.conduit.com, and your default search engine is modified for Internet Helper Customized Web Search. That is why some users think that Internet Helper Toolbar is browser hijacker, but computer users authorize these changes themselves! What is more, Internet Helper Toolbar also offers you to install such additional programs as TuneUp Utilities 2013 or Free Smileys We Love Extension. TuneUp Utilities 2013 is a highly questionable computer optimization tool that sometimes displays false scan results, basically scaring them into believing that there are particular errors present in their computers.

Not to mention that there are quite a few security risks related to Internet Helper Toolbar, and if you want to avoid them, you should delete the toolbar from your PC immediately.
