MyFunCards Toolbar

MyFunCards Toolbar is not a malicious browser plugin; however, it enables third-party software, which is why it is often categorized as a potentially unwanted program. Once you visit myfuncards.com and hit the download button to initiate the installation process, you are presented with a setup. Here you are introduced with links to the Privacy Policy and you are offered to change the home page and the search provider of your Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. Note that you can dismiss these offers by having the boxes un-checked before hitting the Install button. Unfortunately, these additional apps are set for an automatic installation, meaning that if you do not pay attention to the entire process, you may end up with undesirable browser modifications. Luckily, you can remove the unwanted browser options and delete MyFunCards Toolbar from the PC.

If you are not careful with the installation of the toolbar, you may find that your browsers have been hijacked. This is not true, and Ask search tools have been attached with your own consent. This is why your home page is now set to home.tb.ask.com, and you are forced to use the search.tb.ask.com search engine. Additionally to this, Search Assistant BHO, MyFunCards and Toolbar BHO are installed on the browsers. Do you know what BHO stands for? This is an abbreviation for a browser helper object, which indicates that the plugins could record information related to your own browsing habits. It is most likely that the developer of the toolbar (Mindspark) will utilize web cookies to perform such suspicious tasks. Note that this activity is also linked to MindDabble, Daily Bible Guide, Cursor Mania Toolbar and other plugins created by the same developer.

Do you want to remove MyFunCards Toolbar from the operating Windows system? Then we can help you.
