Searchwebs is a fake search engine that looks like a legitimate one. It can be classified as a browser hijacker although it does not change your default home page. What it does hijack, however, is your new tab. If you are infected with this potentially dangerous application, each time you open a tab on your browser, a new Searchwebs page will be opened and you will be urged to use the search engine. Although this application is not an extremely dangerous infection per se, it is necessary that you remove Searchwebs at once, because the hijacker could be responsible for luring other malware onto your PC.
