I NEED HELP!! I have Windows XP, and whenever I open Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs, YTDownloader doesn't appear on the list. What do I do?

Unable to remove YTdownloader. Message appears "All internet web pages must be closed before program can be removed”.
All web pages were currently closed at the time.
All other methods to remove this software have failed. Please advise with any updates.
This did not work....must enter code which does not show so you can not enter what is blacked out so you can not see it

Thanks for nothing jerks! You know very well that YT Downloader is designed to defeat uninstalation from the control panel. To start to uninstall it, you need to kill the process and delete the YT Downloader folder from C:/Program Files(x86). I haven't restarted my computer since doing that, so expect Windows to complain about not finding the program every time you start your computer after that. There's probably something in the registry that needs to be updated as well.
Use Hijack This Tool and remove this Virus. its free and one more thing to remove this Virus .
Kill the process and for YTdownloader and then remove the files from the folder c\program filese(86)\YTdownloader .

I've killed the process and completely purged my system files of anything pertaining to YTDownloader. But my antivirus scanner keeps saying that I'm still infected with the files I deleted. I've searched my entire computer (even the recycle bin), but the files the scan listed were nowhere to be found. What the heck is going on.
control pannel wont let me do that
1.go to task manager kill the YT downloader progress
2.go to program files86 then delete YTDownloader files
3.control panel -addon programs -YTdownlaoder uninstaller
4.bye working fine

I need help, there once i try to unistall YT downloader from my windows 8, after i click in unistall there is a black window with a security code asking for a code, however the code is is in a black window so its impossible to see the code. did anyone can help me?

After deleting YT using Amarnath's method, It got rid of it. BUT - some of the other downloads which YT downloaded will not go, such as Shopper-Pro.. how do I get rid of this?

Jaich, I was able to remove shopper pro by starting in safe mode. Then going to control panel and uninstalling.

My computer is slow. I want to get rid of this jucnk program.
I went to command prompt and did the c:/program(x86) and the darn thing still shows on my computer but once in a while I get a message saying that YTdownloader cannot open, so I guess it's dead. Just can't get rid of the message or the stupid icon.

This is just the net police trying to stop you using good freewear i have used this for a long time and had no issues. If you need to remove it do in safe mode and remove as you would any other programs. Easy.

Hi Thanks a bunch Amarnath! I managed to get everything else deleted but this thing called sbmntr.sys does not get deleted! It keeps saying the file is open in another program. I searched the whole PC for any file using it but I have been unable to find anything so far. Would you know how to find it and get rid of it? One place suggested finding it under NET PROJECT in Program Files but mine is Windows 10 and I dont have that folder itself !! Please help if possible! Thanks a bunch in advance!
