Google Chrome

  1. Press Alt+F.
  2. Point to Tools - > Extensions.
  3. Remove the unwanted add-on.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Under On startup, click one of the options and click Set pages.
  6. Under Search, click Manage search engines and change the search provider.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+A.
  2. Click Extensions and remove the unwanted add-on.
  3. Press Alt+T and click Options.
  4. On the General tab, change the home page and click OK.
  5. To change the search provider, open the drop-down menu and select one of the provided search engines.
