Once the toolbar is installed on your default browser, Utility Chest provides you with a number of useful resources such as Translator, Calculator, Spell-check tool, Calendar, shortcuts to weather websites, maps, food recipes and many more. Nevertheless, this extension comes with a number of security risks that need to be taken into consideration. In order words, you are strongly recommended to remove Utility Chest Toolbar from your computer.

Despite the fact, that this plugin is not a malicious computer infection, it may be resistant against removal and some users have an impression that Utility Chest Toolbar hijack their home pages and change them to search.mywebsearch.com. The truth is that, since users install this plugin themselves, they can also choose the home page settings as well. During the installation, you need to confirm that you either want your home page modified or not. Therefore, if you go through the installation process negligently, you will end up with your home page changed.
