Tidy Network

Tidy Network is an adware program that is utilized by a number of companies to display their ads on particular websites. The program makes use of Virtual Layer Advertising platform and it usually embeds ads within the web text. For example, if you open a page and you see a number of keywords underlined, it means that the page is most probably used for commercial and marketing purposes. In case of Tidy Network, if you hover your mouse above the underlined keyword an advertisement will appear most probably related to the keyword in one way or the other. Such programs as Tidy Network do not intend to steal your information or destroy your system, but it does present a number of security risks, so it is recommended to remove Tidy Network from your computer.

To display advertisements that would be related to your browsing history, Tidy Network employs cookies. Everything about the program's privacy policy can be found at TidyNetwork.com. Cookies do not steal your personal information - they simply connect your browsing history. For example, if you visit numerous online shopping websites looking for new shoes, then it is highly possible that Tidy Network will display online shoe stores advertisements for you. The problem is that Tidy Network is seldom responsible for the advertisements it displays and the links embedded in these advertisements. Therefore, if a malicious third party decides to make use of Tidy Network to display links to corrupted websites, it is very likely that you will be exposed to malware.

Therefore, before any of the security risks prove to be true, you should remove Tidy Network from your PC, and then check your system for any other undesirable programs.

The Tidy Network ads have got me so pissed off I would wish they all BURN IN HELL. And, the tidy network is not listed as being on my computer in the control panel to remove a program. GOD THEY SUCK.

I have also confirmed "tidy network is not listed as being on my computer in the control panel to remove" for my Windows 8 by Dell. So the above instructions are not helpful.

Just learned Tidy Network's add-on should be removed from every browser it appears in.

Same problem here. Not as easy as just uninstalling the program. It must be running somewhere else.

When I tried to uninstall Tidynetwork form my Lenovo computer, I have windows 8.1 by the way, my computer showed no space taken in the system and when I clicked uninstall, my computer said it wasn't there or had already been removed. All the while it was still there. What's up with that?
