POLICÍA FEDERAL Virus

POLICÍA FEDERAL Virus is a randomware infection associated with Raxm Trojan. If you have this threat on your PC, you should immediately remove it from the system as it can easily make the computer inoperable. The threat locks the screen and displays a warning whose upper right hand corner contains the logo of the federal police force in Mexico (Policía Federal) to make you think that this law enforcement agency has started an investigation of the breaches committed utilizing your computer.

The truth is that Mexican police are not related to the Trojan although the message claims that you may be sentenced to, for example, 22 years in prison. Ignore the accusations and the statement that the police have imposed a 1000 peso fine which has to be paid via Ukash or Paysafecard. The following examples are very often found in the interfaces of this type of infection:

Todas las operaciones que se realizan en este orenador se están grabando. Si Usted usa una cámera-web, entonces los materiales de video y foto se guardan para realizar la identificación.

Su ordenador se ha bloqueado!

La suma de multa es 1000 MXN. El pago debe ser realizado durante 48 horas a partir de revelación de delito.

Although the Raxm Trojan is a relatively new detection, its interfaces are very similar to the ones of the Reveton Trojan. For example, the warning of POLICÍA FEDERAL Virus is very similar to the message of Poliisi Virus detected in October 2012 and any other interface of Reveton detected at that time.

POLICÍA FEDERAL Virus also has a version which is spread in Argentina, where computer users are supposed to think that they are being monitored by Argentine Federal Police (Policía Federal Argentina). Both instances should be treated as scam because the messages that appear on the screens are not related with the owner of the infected computer.

In order to remove POLICÍA FEDERAL Virus, follow our removal instructions. You will learn how to install a professional spyware removal tool which can easily remove the infection and provide the PC with the best protection against malware attacks.
