Windows 8:

1. Access the Metro UI which you can do by tapping the Windows key on the keyboard.
2. Right-click and select All Apps located at the bottom right corner.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Go to Uninstall a program. Use the search box if you cannot find the utility.
5. Right-click on the program you wish to remove and select Uninstall.

Windows Vista/7:

1. Click on the Start menu icon found on the Task Bar and go to Control Panel.
2. Select Uninstall a program.
3. Right-click on the unwanted program and click Uninstall.

Windows XP:

1. Open the Start menu and click on Control Panel.
2. Double-click on Add or Remove programs.
3. Click on the program you wish to delete and click on the Remove button displayed below.

Delete Virus from the browser

Internet Explorer:

1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T to open the Tools menu.
2. Click on Manage Add-ons and select Toolbars and Extensions from the menu on the left.
3. Select the unwanted item and click Disable.
4. Now from the menu on the left select Search Providers and Remove the unwanted search engine.
5. Go back to the Tools menu and click on Internet Options.
6. Under the General tab go to Home Page and change the entry. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+H.
2. From the Help menu select Troubleshooting Information.
3. Locate the Reset Firefox button on the right hand-side and click on it.
4. Confirm your selection and wait for Mozilla Firefox to re-launch.

Google Chrome:

1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+F to open the menu.
2. Click on Tools and then on Extensions.
3. Locate the unwanted extension, click on the trash icon and select Remove.
4. From the menu on the left click on Settings.
5. Under on Startup select “Open a specific page” and click on Set Pages.
6. Click “X” for unwanted pages and enter the URL of a new Startup page. Click OK.
7. Navigate to Search and click on Manage Search Engines.
8. Move the cursor over the preferred engine and select Make default. Then click “X” for the unwanted engine and hit OK.
