Trojan.Rotinom.B

Trojan.Rotinom.B infection originated in China, back in 2010, and now it is a very well known computer infection, which has also been recorded with names W32.Rotinom, Trojan.Win32.VBKrypt!IK, Trojan:Win32/Rotinom.B, Malware.Rotinom, etc. This particular Trojan can affect all Windows systems, Windows 98 version upwards, and it can be infiltrated into your system through a number of different distribution channels, which include network based bundled/encrypted downloads, USB drive based malware installations, and tens of others sources. What should be noted about this malignant application is that it may be hard to detect and remove Trojan.Rotinom.B from your system, since it does not have an interface, and its dangerous files can be hidden from removal using Trojan’s rootkit feature.

Trojan.Rotinom.B is not a regular Trojan, and this can be credited to its main infectious executable file update.exe, which has polymorphic characteristics and can complicate manual infection’s removal greatly. What is more, the file is cloaked, meaning that its name is taken from an original Windows system’s file, which, in fact, is Windows Service Pack Setup’s installer. This executable is a malware downloader, and can create security backdoors for other fraudulent application, because it has access to uncontrolled Internet connection. With this adit, Trojan’s file can spread the infection’s setup via MIME emails from your personal accounts, use your phone book contact details, record data from autoexec.bat file, and send collected information on your browsing activities. Additionally, Trojan.Rotinom.B’s executable deletes processes, adds files, modifies runtime policies, and injects infection’s codes to startup programs.

Even though this Trojan has been active for more than two years now, you can still become its victim, which is why you should invest your money in legal, automatic removal application, which would delete Trojan.Rotinom.B from your operating Windows system. We do not recommend having this infection removed manually by any Windows users, because its polymorphic and rootkit attributes can make you delete the wrong files, which could conclude in highly compromised Windows system. Legal security software could also deal with over computer infections, which quite possibly could have infiltrated your PC, alongside Trojan.Rotinom.B invasion.
