System Smart Security

The computer must be constantly protected against various types of malware, especially as there are rogues like System Smart Security on the loose. This rogue antispyware application is a direct clone of Best Malware Protection, PC Security Guardian and many other rogues from the same family. System Smart Security pretends to be a legal security program, and in order to look more presentable it copies the layout of Windows XP Explorer, making it look like the rogue is an integral part of the system.

System Smart Security is usually distributed via fake online malware scanners and browser hijackers. The infection might be lurking in an absolutely innocuous-looking website, which is actually designed to appear at the top of search results, by using the most popular keywords at the time. Therefore, sometimes it is hard to avoid being infected even if the user is very careful about not clicking on suspicious links – System Smart Security might be waiting for him behind the most innocent image ever.

However, when System Smart Security enters the system, it might not manifest of its presence immediately. It might take up to a few hours before the rogue starts sending various fake security messages, which are supposed to scare the user into using System Smart Security to remove these security threats. Usually the rogue announces that various malicious programs are trying to get away with an identity theft, so message like this are common:

Warning! Identity theft attempt detected!
Hidden Connection IP:
Target: Microsoft Corporation Keys

Also System Smart Security performs a fake system scan and finds 20 potential “threats”. The names of the supposed threats include Trojan-PSW.Win32.Delf.d, Trojan-Spyt.HTML.Bankfraud.ix, Trojan-PSW.Win32.Dripper and many more. These are real parasites, and some of them have been first detected a decade ago. System Smart Security makes use of existing computer threats to present itself as a reliable computer safeguard program, but that is done only to fool the user and make him spend his money for nothing.

It is better to remove System Smart Security immediately instead of spending your money for this completely worthless product. In order to make the removal of the program easier, use this code to “activate” the rogue:

U2FD-S2LA-H4KA-UEPB

You simply need to click on ‘Help’ icon and then press “Register Now”. Then pasted in the code and select “Activate Product Key”.

When the rogue is “activate” get yourself a reliable malware scanner which will detect all the components of the rogue and delete System Smart Security from your computer for good.

    laurie,

Try contacting Your bank, to cancel the paymetn... (if its not too late)

  3. Securitygeek Jun 21, 2011

I agree, call your bank asap! Have your card canceled and a new one re-issued. The thieves not only may have your money (hopefully the bank will stop the payment), they also have your credit card information. This could be the beginning of a disaster, act fast.
