System Tool 2.20

Online Security experts do not become excited about the average rogue which appears online from time to time, as their life expectancy is not depicted as that high. Yet the advent of System Tool 2.20 has shocked even industry cynics with its crippling effect on PCs and the vitriol and stamina behind its attack. This known alias of System Tool 2011 and System Tool will clandestinely infect its victim\'s PC in order to ultimately extort money from him, and research has proven that it remains hard for the average person to delete System Tool 2.20. The reason for this is because System Tool 2.20 uses advanced tactics to avoid detection and removal, much too advanced for the average user to effectively deal with.

It would seem as though System Tool 2.20 does not break new ground in its distribution methods and infection patterns – making use of the traditional methods of infection, such as drive-by downloads, Trojan infections and fake online scanners, System Tool 2.20 will do everything it can to root its infection in your system. A popular route for infection is by installing Adobe flash player or reader updates from third party sites.

System Tool 2.20 does not own the ability to detect, quarantine or remove any threats and infections on a PC, despite what its elaborate online marketing campaign would like you to believe. As with any rogue, System Tool 2.20 will want you to believe your system is compromised, and that System Tool 2.20 is the only tool capable of cleaning and healing your system. To bring this home, System Tool 2.20 will make use of various elaborate and dramatic fake security notifications, namely:

“System Tool Warning
Your PC is infected with dangerous viruses. Activate antivirus protection to prevent data loss and avoid the theft of your credit card details.

“System Tool Warning
Intercepting programs that may compromise your private and harm your system have been detected on your PC.
Click here to remove them immediately with System Tool.”

“Security Monitor: WARNING!
Attention: System detected a potential hazard (TrojanSPM/LX) on your computer that may infect executable files. Your private information and PC safety is at risk. To get rid of unwanted spyware and keep your computer safe you need to update your current security software.
Click Yes to download official intrusion detection system (IDS software).”

“Warning: Your computer is infected
Windows has detected spyware infection!
Click this message to install the last update of Windows security software…”

What’s more, System Tool 2.20 will change the infected PC’s background to a fake security warning:

“Warning!
You’re in Danger!
Your Computer is infected with Spyware!
All you do with your computer is stored forever in your hard disk. When you visit sites, send emails… All your actions are logged. And it is impossible to remove them with standard tools. Your data is still available for forensics, and in some cases
For your boss, your friends, your wife, your children. Every site you or somebody or even something, like spyware, opened in your browsers, with all the images, and all the downloaded and maybe later removed movies or mp3 songs – ARE STILL THERE and could break your life!
Secure yourself right now!
Removal all spyware from your PC!”

System Tool 2.20 will also not allow you to execute some programs by blocking the executables. This is intended to withhold the user from running a security program which could identify and erase System Tool 2.20 from the system, as well as to further scare and panic the user. The following message will be displayed whenever an application is blocked:
“Warning!
Application cannot be executed. The file cmd.exe is infected.
Please activate your antivirus software.”

Obviously none of these messages can be trusted, and users are urged to accept all correspondence from System Tool 2.20 as fake. In order to minimize the damage posed by this incredulous rogue, users have to get rid of System Tool 2.20 immediately. The fail proof way to eliminate System Tool 2.20 for good is by investing in a properly functioning security tool.
