Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T.
  2. Select Manage Add-ons.
  3. In the menu on the left click Search Providers.
  4. Set/add the preferred search provider.
  5. Remove the undesirable search provider and click Close.
  6. Tap Alt+T one more time and select Internet options.
  7. Click the General tab and navigate to Home Page.

  6. Remove the undesirable search provider and restart Firefox.

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+F.
  2. Select Settings and find the On Startup section.
  3. Mark Open a page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  4. Overwrite/delete the undesirable URL and click OK.
  5. Under Appearance mark Show Home button.
  6. Click Change and repeat step 4.
  7. Navigate to Search and click Manage search engines.
  8. Set/add the preferred search provider.
  9. Click X on the URL of to delete it.
  10. Click Done and restart your browser.
