PepperZip is a program that creates, unpack, and compress various archive files. The program is advertised alongside PepperPdF and PepperPlayer at The program may seem to be appealing; however, when the user tries to open an archive, the program requires that he/she purchases the unlimited version, which is available for $14. The PepperZip program falls into the category of potentially unwanted programs (PUP) because it has been found that it downloads a Trojan horse, which can be named score.exe or rcore.exe.
