5. Close the tab.
6. Click the search icon next to the search box and set a new search provider.

Google Chrome

1. Press Alt+F.
2. Point to Tools and click Extensions.
3. Remove the unwanted extension.
4. Click Settings.
5. Under On startup, click on the last option and then select Set pages.
6. Under Search, click Manage search engines and set a new search provider.
