My Security Shield

Seditious rogue applications acting wantonly hardly qualify as newsworthy headlines anymore, and then there is My Security Shield. The first inclination that we are dealing with a rogue which demands attention comes from the recognition of My Security Shield’s predecessors, Virus Doctor and My Security Engine. By the company My Security Shield keeps its plain to see that this rogue antispyware tool is out for the kill. Unlike with genuine security tools which offer something of value, My Security Shield was designed with an intensely selfish purpose; to fleece consumers off while not even being able to live up to any of its promises.

Even though My Security Shield has only recently been discovered, it makes use of established infection tactics. Surreptitiously infiltrating the PC, My Security Shield’s infection impacts the PC harder by remaining hidden from the attention of the user until it deems it the correct time to start its assault on the system and thus reveal its presence. Crooked online domains acting as browser hijackers forms part of the militia behind My Security Shield’s aggressive online marketing campaign, and are responsible for many PCs becoming infected with My Security Shield Trojans and malware. Users who download security updates and codecs from third party websites are also at greater risk contracting My Security Shield malware as it has been known to bundle its Trojans in this way.

As a first line of assault on the system My Security Shield will assail the PC owner with innumerable fake security messages. These notifications, which are utterly without merit, have been designed in an effort to panic PC owners. Its other purpose serves to heighten My Security Shield’s legitimacy in the eyes of its victims. My Security Shield will incorporate sneaky calls to action into these fake alerts which when acted upon will make its takeover of the system even easier. It goes without saying that none of these bogus security alerts should enjoy any attention. Be on the lookout for the following bogus notifications distributed by My Security Shield:

Warning! Access conflict detected!
An unidentified program is trying to access system process address space.
Process Name: AllowedForm
Location: C:Windows...notepad.exe

Warning! Identity theft attempt detected

Memory access problem
WindowsErrorForm has encountered a problem at address 0x1FC408.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you see this error again, operational information can be irrevocably lost.

Warning! Virus detected
Threat Detected: Trojan-PSW.VBS.Half
Description: This is a VBScript-virus. It steals user's passwords.

PC owners who did not erase My Security Shield from their systems in time complained about being unable to connect to the Internet, as well as not being able to run programs on their PCs. Others complained about increased erratic system behavior and poor system performance. These are all the unfortunate symptoms which follow a My Security Shield infection as part of its campaign of terror on its victims’ systems in an effort to extort money out of them.

My Security Shield will simply stop at nothing to successfully attain its vicarious goal. Do not become its next victim, remove My Security Shield without allowing it one more second’s access to your system. In order to be sure to destroy My Security Shield completely, employ the removal power of a genuine and updated security tool which will not only eliminate My Security Shield from the system but also offer adequate protection against future similar attacks and threats.

UPDATE

Fortunately, more and more My Security Shield’s notifications surface PC users’ screens, allowing future victims to identify the rogue much quicker. See some of the newly discovered fake warnings and recommendations:

As long as you have not actually downloaded the Security Shield software yourself, then restore your PC to an earlier time. I went to a site and Security Shield started attacking me this morning, and all I had to do was restore to an earlier point. Try this FIRST!!!
