Where are the instructions for manual removal?

The infection scanner didn\'t work. Four programs refused to function, AV Software Suite continues to screw up the computer, and of course there are no manual instructions.

  4. Atool Jun 11, 2010

Useless as hell. No manual instructions. 3rd option on google for giggles? Fail.

IT is extremley hard to remove AV sequrity suite with out damaging your computer due to you accessing the back door ways of the computer.
    Easiest option,
Copy all crucial doccuments you need onto a usb drive and create yourself a new account. AV will not appear in the new account since it is attached onto the current account

still have the virus. 5 hours in to removal attempts. One thing I KNOW that can help is if you boot in safe mode, type msconfig into run in your start menu. Choose startup and disable ALL startup programs. Restart.
You still have the virus but you can now open programs normally and download from the net for a solution. Still haven\'t found anything to get rid of the sucker though.

What if when you type in \'misconfig\' it doesn\'t work? I\'ve tried everything now and I can\'t find one single solution. This virus really got into my system. Help??

  9. Sarah Jun 19, 2010

Or, better yet, what if you can\'t delete it from the start up menu because it doesn\'t show?

  13. ryan Jun 28, 2010

i cant even pull up the safe mode screen...

  14. mark Jul 2, 2010

try system restore in safe mode.i had this problem and it got rid of it!

  15. Bob Jul 3, 2010

Max! your\'s worked. I was an exe file under a weird folder: my \\local settings\\application data\\qkmraqqb\\hmdtdketssd.exe

  16. jmosley708 Jul 4, 2010

I\'ve heard you should not go to system restore as it then infects that. I changed the permissions on the appdata\\local\\ folder to deny. If you do a msconfig, you will find it in your startup. My case it was something like nysdhesd.exe. I\'ve deleted it and I\'m looking for the registry entries for this nuisance. These people should be treated as criminals.

  17. jmosley708 Jul 4, 2010

The link to the registry entries are at: Using msconfig and removing the file seems to cleared this up for me. You also have to take your browser off proxy settings.
